I've been visiting friends and was taken out to lunch as well while I was there. My friend is a vegetarian so I knew I'd generally be ok with the food. HOWEVER, they are not oil or dairy free yet. I managed to get something to eat at the little cafe they took me too, but really noticed the oil on the dressing (I forgot to ask them not to dress it) and in the calzone vegetables. Yes, after a short while you will be able to taste the oil and it is very nasty and greasy.
As I managed to put on 4 pounds (in 24 hours that seems incredibly impossible doesn't it?!!) I've been searching for answers to this problem. I know that eating white flour products does me in for my weight loss goals, but sometimes you are hard pressed to find anything suitable so you take the best you can. Anyway ...
